My name is Pierre Tabary. I am a young artist with a plan to make a career in comics, like my grandfather before me and my uncle. I do in the abstract and experimentation. I write the stories as much for myself as for my readers. I’m aiming for the sman. Let them do all the work. I deform the image in their heads. It comes from them. I whisper. I’m initiate. The mystery attracts them. Obsesses them. I prepare, and they do the rest. Their interpretation, and it’s the only one possible, because I don’t give them a choice. And they believe in it: it’s theirs now.
